京都洛北の小さな集落 静原にある古民家の一棟貸の宿「静原山荘」です。
２０年近く空き家として放置されたいた古民家を、３年間の改修期間を経てようやく宿としてご提供する準備が整いました。
宿の運営と改修設計は、隣接する敷地にある 森田一弥建築設計事務所 が手掛けています。
集落の一角にある築100年以上の古民家の古びた雰囲気を最大限残しつつ、快適にお寛ぎいただける空間です。

Retreat Shizuhara is a private traditional Japanese house available for exclusive rental, located in Shizuhara, a small rural village in the northern mountains of Kyoto.For nearly twenty years, the house stood vacant. After three years of careful restoration, it has finally been brought back to life as a place where guests can experience the quiet beauty of rural Kyoto.
The restoration was designed and carried out by Kazuya Morita Architecture Studio, whose studio is located on the neighboring property and has long been based in Shizuhara. While preserving as much as possible the character and atmosphere of this traditional farmhouse, which is more than 100 years old, we have carefully introduced modern comforts to create a space where guests can relax in peace.
We invite you to leave behind the bustle of central Kyoto and enjoy the nature, landscape, and culture of this satoyama village, spending unhurried time in the quiet surroundings of Shizuhara.
